Intel® Xeon® w-3365 Processor
The Xeon® W processors are made especially for workstations. The Xeon® 3365 is a 32-core processor with a speed up to 4Ghz, truly a powerhouse. Thanks to all the extra features implemented in the processor such as Intel Hyper-Threading Technology, which provides two execution units per physical core, multi-process applications can do more work in parallel and finish tasks faster. It will be the perfect processor to perform even the most complicated tasks.

The Kraken is a workstation born from a partnership between Ansys and 2CRSi whose goal is to create a machine optimized in every way to be one of the most powerful workstations on the market, to be as close as possible to the needs of data scientists.
2 Nodes allowing continuous use without loss of power
The Kraken is equipped with two very distinct systems. With its first node, featuring a Core™ i processor, you can perform all of your daily work tasks without latency, no matter how much power is required.
With the second node, the workstation is able to simultaneously produce high quality renderings thanks to the Xeon-W processor, with up to 38 cores and designed for such tasks.
The Kraken is multitasking, able to run multiple software applications including Ansys licenses and work on multiple projects simultaneously without latency.
Water Cooling system for optimal performance
The Kraken is cooled with a liquid cooling system called direct on chip cooling. This system is more efficient and offers better cooling performance than air cooling systems.
The components being better cooled, the performances are superior, allowing to reach the best of the capacities of the hardware. Liquid cooling also provides additional comfort with less noise and reduced power consumption.

With its two nodes, the Kraken allows you to use the node with the Core-i9 CPU to perform initial tests and shape your project. You have quality hardware specifically designed to handle such tasks.
Once the foundation of the work is done, it's time for rendering. This is the precise moment when the computer mobilizes all its resources to complete the task as quickly as possible, leading to a slowdown of the machine.
This is where the second node comes into play, with its 32 cores and GPUs. The task will be completed faster in parallel, without impacting the first node, allowing you to continue working serenely.
Optimization and overclocking of components to get the maximum performance
2CRSi's experts are doing a thorough optimization work. First, on the software side, to achieve the best possible performance. Then, on the hardware part, the teams push the power of the components by overclocking them.
