What to expect with this unusual format
From the OCP Team: "This will be a rich, interactive experience that can be accessed from anywhere in the world, that incorporates all the key components of our Global Summit, including keynote sessions, executive tracks, an Expo Hall with Expo Hall talks, Engineering Workshops, the OCP Experience Center and the OCP Future Technologies Symposium. This format will allow us to reach a larger audience, with increased functionality for Q&A, panel discussions, live chat, and one-on-one connections with key constituencies that you expect from our Summit."
We'll go through 2 live interventions and an interview. Of course, we'll be online at the same time to answer all the questions and discuss your projects. 2CRSi will present new solutions with DLC technologies, will share learnings from Immersion, and much more…
Mechanical Design Guidelines for Immersion-Cooled IT Equipment
When? Wednesday, May 13, 1:30 pm • 2:00 pm (Pacific Time Zone)
By: Léo CIOBOTARU
Together with the ACS Immersion Cooling Sub-Project group, 2CRSi contributed to the creation of an IT gear for Immersion whitepaper, entitled “Design Guidelines for Immersion-Cooled IT Equipment.”
The 2CRSi team will present the “Mechanical Design Guidelines” section, where we will speak about what is essential to take into account when designing a server for immersion.
Adrien Badina, our OCP Lead, will tell you more about our presence within the OCP Community and the overall benefits in the business.
Takeaways After Two Years of Immersion
When? Wednesday, May 13 • 11:00 am - 11:30 am (Pacific Time Zone)
By: Michaël HELEZEN
Since 2018, 2CRSi is accumulating experience in designing servers for immersion. In what follows, we would like to share what we have learned during this period. The presentation will be divided into four main chapters:
- Material compatibility: here, we will speak about the interactivity between different components and the immersion liquid. What works and what should be avoided.
- Mechanical: this chapter focused on the design features that should be considered when creating a server for immersion.
- Electrical: in this chapter, we will cover some aspects related to electrical components interact with the immersion liquid
- Software: mostly related to PSU’s software adaptation.
2CRSi and the OCP Community
2CRSi has been a member of the Open Compute Project since 2018 (Saphire member as of 2020).
The 2CRSi team is actively involved in OCP Rack & Power, Advanced Cooling, HPC, Server, and Storage project groups.
